About the job

As ERP Platform Lead, you will define and drive the strategy, governance and operational excellence of Opella's global SAP platform ecosystem. You will ensure platform availability, performance, security and compliance while leading a global team responsible for delivering critical platform services and transformation initiatives. Acting as a key technology leader, you will partner closely with business stakeholders, application teams, service providers and SAP to enable a reliable and future-ready ERP landscape.

• Lead initiatives that strengthen the reliability, scalability and performance of our global SAP platforms.
• Develop and support teams across multiple locations, fostering collaboration, expertise and continuous improvement.
• Drive major technology transformation programs, including migrations, upgrades and platform modernization initiatives.
• Promote operational excellence through governance, compliance and proactive risk management.
• Help shape a culture that is ambitious, collaborative and focused on delivering meaningful business outcomes.

Main responsibilities

• Define and deliver the technology roadmap for SAP platforms (on-prem, RISE and BTP SAP Cloud platforms) and integrated technologies, ensuring high service availability and operational effectiveness.
• Lead platform lifecycle activities including migrations, upgrades, re-platforming initiatives and continuous service improvements.
• Act as Technical System Owner for SAP platforms, providing technical governance and oversight across platform components and integrated technologies.
• Drive platform performance, monitoring, reporting and incident management, including root-cause analysis and preventive action plans.
• Ensure cybersecurity, quality and compliance requirements are embedded across the SAP landscape, including support for regulated and GxP environments.
• Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, application owners and service providers to align platform priorities with business needs.
• Lead and develop a global team of internal and external experts responsible for platform operations, lifecycle management and project delivery.

About you

• Proven experience leading enterprise SAP platforms and ERP transformation initiatives within a global organization.
• Strong expertise in SAP technologies, including S/4HANA and related cloud and platform services (BTP, ALM, Cloud services), combined with a solid understanding of enterprise technology architecture.
• Experience managing large, geographically distributed teams and external service providers in complex operational environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical topics into clear business outcomes.
• Knowledge of platform governance, cybersecurity, compliance and service management best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
