C.H. Robinson, one of the world's largest logistics platforms, is looking for our next Ocean Import Coordinator to join our Global Forwarding team in Rotterdam.
As a successful Ocean Import Agent, you will manage end-to-end ocean import shipments, ensuring seamless transportation, documentation compliance, and exceptional customer service. You will work closely with customers, carriers, overseas offices, and internal stakeholders to deliver efficient and reliable import solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage ocean import shipments from origin through final delivery while ensuring compliance with customer SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate bookings, shipment tracking, customs documentation, arrival notices, delivery arrangements, and invoicing activities.
- Monitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve transportation, documentation, and service issues.
- Collaborate with carriers, overseas offices, agents, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure operational excellence.
- Build strong customer relationships through timely communication, issue resolution, and service support.
- Provide shipment status updates, operational reporting, and documentation support to customers and stakeholders.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to service, quality, and efficiency initiatives.
- Participate in customer reviews and support business growth through exceptional service delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years of ocean import, freight forwarding, or international logistics experience.
- Strong knowledge of ocean import documentation, international shipping processes, and supply chain operations.
- Excellent customer service, communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.

Compensation Range
€33,200.00 - €52,700.00
