Responsibilities

Snowflake Training

Deliver a 4-day hands-on Snowflake training session for a team of up to 10 participants, following the provided agenda

Data Ingestion

Cover flat file ingestion, CSV vs Parquet, internal and external stages, COPY INTO, file formats, and data conversion

Orchestration & Change Tracking

Demonstrate and explain ADF, Snowflake Tasks, Airflow, Change Tracking, and Streams through practical exercises

Data Protection & Recovery

Train participants on Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, Fail-safe, Replication, backup strategies, monitoring, and recovery best practices

dbt & Snowflake

Deliver training on dbt architecture, project structure, models, tests, macros, incremental models, documentation, and task scheduling

mdd/ddf Recovery

Explain mdd/ddf formats and demonstrate Snowflake integration, architecture approaches, metadata modeling, and end-to-end automation patterns

Requirements

Training Dates

Availability to deliver the 4-day training session planned for 15–18 September, ideally for the full scheduled period

Snowflake Experience

3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including implementation and administration of production environments

ETL / ELT

Practical experience with ETL/ELT development, data ingestion, CSV/Parquet, COPY INTO, Stages, Streams, and Change Tracking

Data Protection

Strong knowledge of Snowflake Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, Replication, Fail-safe, and backup/recovery best practices

dbt Expertise

Hands-on experience with dbt models, tests, macros, incremental models, documentation, and task scheduling

Orchestration Tools

Experience with orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, or Snowflake Tasks

Training Experience

Experience delivering technical training or workshops on Snowflake, dbt, or modern data engineering topics, including hands-on labs
