Your Tasks

To support our IT Security team, we are looking for a Working Student (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the analysis, prioritization, and tracking of IT vulnerabilities, as well as coordinating remediation activities to sustainably reduce risks in close collaboration with responsible business and IT teams.

Assisting in the handling and coordination of security events and incidents, including the preparation of status reports, documentation, and alignment with internal stakeholders.

Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of regulatory and internal security requirements, for example in the context of BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIS2, ISO 27001, or comparable security frameworks and standards.

Coordinating and communicating with internal departments, IT teams, and external service providers to ensure transparent communication of security requirements and effective follow-up of mitigation measures.

Preparing reports, KPIs, and management summaries, as well as supporting audits, risk assessments, and projects aimed at continuously improving the organization's information security posture.

Your Qualifications

Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in (Business) Information Systems, Computer Science, or a comparable discipline

Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and with a proactive mindset

Strong affinity for technology and interest in IT and information security topics

Previous practical experience in IT, gained through internships, working student positions, or personal projects, is a plus

Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in a dynamic IT security environment
