We serve quality brunch dishes, house-made pastries, Italian-inspired food (from fresh pasta to pizza), natural wines and warm hospitality — from morning espresso to late-night dinners.

Our team is dedicated to creating a relaxed but refined experience, where every guest feels at home. In our restaurant, deli café and private room, service is just as important as the food itself. That’s where you come in.

INTRODUCTION

We are looking for an experienced Waiter / Waitress to strengthen our front-of-house team. You’ll be the face of Papillon — someone who combines warm hospitality with professional service skills. If you have a passion for food, drinks and creating memorable guest experiences, we would love to meet you.

Please note: evening and weekend availability (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) is essential for this role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcoming guests with charm and professionalism.
• Advising guests confidently about dishes, drinks and specials.
• Serving food and beverages with precision and a sense of timing.
• Managing tables efficiently from start to finish.
• Handling reservations, payments and guest feedback.
• Supporting a clean, organized and energetic service environment.
• Collaborating closely with kitchen and bar teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a waiter/waitress in a quality restaurant or café.
• Strong communication skills; fluent in English (Dutch is a bonus).
• In-depth knowledge of service etiquette and hospitality standards.
• Enthusiastic, detail-oriented and able to stay calm under pressure.
• A natural team player with leadership potential.
• Flexible availability, evening and weekend availability.
