Banquet Server - Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino

The Banquet Server is responsible for delivering exceptional service during banquet events, including weddings, meetings, conferences, and special occasions. This role involves setting up, serving, and breaking down functions while maintaining Hilton brand standards and providing excellent guest experiences.

As a Banquet Server, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding service during all banquet events and supporting the overall Food & Beverage operation. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Setting up banquet rooms according to event orders, including tables, chairs, linens, glassware, and utensils.
• Serving meals and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Providing attentive and courteous service to guests throughout the event.
• Clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness during and after events.
• Breaking down and resetting banquet rooms following completion of functions.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of banquet storage and service areas.
• Following safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines, following hotel standards and local health regulations.
• Communicating effectively with kitchen and banquet team members to ensure smooth service flow.
• Assisting with buffets, food stations, passed hors d’oeuvres, and beverage stations as required.
• When no banquet events are scheduled, you will be assigned to support other Food & Beverage outlets, such as restaurants, bars, or in-room dining, to help maintain operational coverage and guest service standards.

Performing other related duties as assigned by the Banquet Captain or Banquet Manager.

Lower Vocational Education (Educacion Profesional Basico), MAVO or equivalent.

Health Card (Green Card)

Aruba Certification Program

CPR Certification

0-3 years Experience

Ability to communicate effectively in English

Basic to intermediate proficiency in Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamento is preferred
