About the team & this role

As the person responsible for our Health & Safety strategy, your mission will be, with the support of an external health & safety provider, to develop, implement and oversee the health & safety management system, ensuring the safety, health and wellbeing of everyone at the company.

We're looking for someone with strategic vision, able to drive a genuine safety culture and lead initiatives in a dynamic technology environment.

What you'll do

• Strategic Management: Define, implement and maintain the company's Prevention Plan, coordinating with the external health & safety provider and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
• Risk Assessment: Identify, analyze and assess risks across the company's different processes. This includes ergonomic and psychosocial assessment in offices, as well as mechanical, chemical or electrical risk assessment in testing and manual satellite assembly areas.
• Manual Handling and Ergonomics: Plan, assess and supervise critical maneuvers involving the movement of heavy and delicate materials, ensuring safe use of equipment.
• Safety Culture and Training: Design and deliver training programs for employees, fostering a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization.
• On-the-Floor Training: Provide direct, hands-on training to technicians and engineers on safe maneuvers, emergency procedures and correct tool use.
• PPE and Technical Clothing Management: Select and oversee the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) specific to labs and cleanrooms, ensuring compatibility and comfort for precision work.
• Audit and Compliance: Oversee compliance with current legal regulations, develop safe work protocols and keep the emergency and evacuation plan up to date.
• Investigation and Continuous Improvement: Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, analyze root causes and collaborate on defining and implementing corrective measures.
• ISO 45001 Management: Lead, apply and maintain the Occupational Health & Safety management system based on ISO 45001 standards, ensuring continuous improvement in the lab and integration areas.

What you bring

• University degree with specialization in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a Health & Safety Manager or Senior Technician in industrial, technological or high-precision environments.
• Experience in the automotive or aerospace sector.
• Experience in safe handling of heavy loads, machinery compliance, mechanical/chemical risks and operations in controlled environments (cleanrooms).
• Proactive, autonomous profile with analytical capacity and results orientation. Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills to drive organization-wide commitment to safety.
• High level of English.
