Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Test Consultant with a strong background in data validation, functional testing, and business scenario testing for account-related products. The consultant will support the New Cash Ledger – Reporting and Re-integration stream by validating data products built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Data Validation & Quality Assurance: Design and execute SQL-driven, scenario-based test cases (including edge cases) to validate data accuracy, completeness, business logic, and pipeline integrity using tools like Xray and Collibra Data Quality.
• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Partner with cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Data Engineers) to perform root-cause analysis on defects and drive best practices in data testing methodologies.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software/system testing.
• Strong expertise in: Functional Testing, Data Validation, Scenario-Based Testing.
• Proven experience as a System Tester with a strong focus on data.
• Hands-on experience in SQL for data verification and analysis
• Solid understanding of**: Data pipelines, Data transformations, Modern cloud-based data platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform – GCP)**.
• Experience using Xray or similar test management tools.
• Experience with Collibra Data Quality or equivalent data quality platforms.
• ISTQB Certified Tester (or equivalent certification).

Soft Skills:

• Ability to translate business requirements into structured and comprehensive test cases.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
