We are looking for an experienced Data and Information Governance Manager to support the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) in the development and implementation of governance frameworks, policies and data-management practices.
Responsibilities
- Establish and support data and information governance bodies.
- Develop and maintain data and information governance frameworks.
- Analyse and document processes.
- Gather requirements from business and technical stakeholders.
- Define policies, standards and governance guidelines.
- Support data-quality and metadata-management initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver information-governance training.
Mandatory requirements
- University degree with at least 3 years of experience in data and information governance, quality and metadata management; or
- Non-university degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of experience setting up or leading data-governance bodies.
- Experience setting up or managing at least two data and/or information governance frameworks.
- At least 2 years of experience analysing and documenting processes and gathering requirements to define policies and guidelines.
- Experience delivering information-governance training content.
- English level B2 or higher.
Practical details
- Remote work from within the EU/EEA.
- Occasional on-site presence at ECDC in Solna, Sweden, may be required.
