Join Novo Nordisk's global API supply chain organisation and play a central role in balancing demand, capacity, inventory, and strategic decision-making across a growing manufacturing network.

Your new role

As a Senior Supply Chain Partner, you will be a trusted business partner within our global API supply chain organisation. Working in a highly dynamic environment, you will support tactical and strategic supply chain planning activities that ensure the right products are available at the right time while maintaining efficient utilisation of manufacturing capacity. You will collaborate across multiple VP and SVP areas, providing data-driven insights that support critical business decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving inventory projections, scenario modelling, and what-if analyses to support business decisions and long-term planning.
  • Analysing supply chain risks, opportunities, and interdependencies across the API manufacturing network and communicating insights to stakeholders.
  • Maintaining tactical supply chain parameters while validating demand inputs and production planning outputs from an API perspective.
  • Implementing supply chain improvements and ensuring alignment with decisions from the Sales & Operations Planning process.
  • Acting as a key business partner for senior stakeholders by providing transparency, recommendations, and guidance on complex supply chain dilemmas.

Your new department

API (Active pharmaceutical ingredients) Supply Chain Management is the central department for the API manufacturing units in Denmark and US. We are responsible for the supply prerequisites within API manufacturing, and we support the Sales & Operations Planning activities and inventory management. We also provide analytical consultancy for supply chain tasks for API and stakeholders through advanced analytics and other relevant Digital Supply Chain tools.

The atmosphere in our team is fun, dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced. We work closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales & Operations Planning, Supply Chain Network Strategy, GL&D Business Partners, and manufacturing site operations teams. Together, we strive to deliver high-quality results, meet deadlines, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients worldwide.

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for an experienced and analytically minded supply chain professional who thrives in complex stakeholder environments and enjoys transforming data into actionable insights. You combine strong business understanding with excellent communication skills and are comfortable influencing decisions across organisational boundaries.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

  • An academic degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry or another highly regulated industry.
  • Strong analytical capabilities combined with experience using Excel and PowerPoint; SAP experience and APICS CSCP/CPIM certification are advantageous.
  • The ability to explain complex data and supply chain topics clearly to a broad range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Full professional proficiency in English

As a person, you are proactive, curious, and solution-oriented. You work independently while fostering collaboration, and you bring a positive approach that helps create engagement and momentum across teams.
