Kitchen Assistant

MAP Petite Maison is on the search for a talented and well-presented kitchen assistant with front of house/waiter experience. MAP Petite Maison is a cocktail bar situated on Vasagatan in Stockholm specialising in whisky, cocktails and small plates.

The right candidate is expected to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm to provide five-star service to all our guests. This position will suit a social person, with great attention to detail, whose main drive is to provide an excellent and memorable experience for all guests.The management team will give you all tools necessary to constantly develop yourself.

Your duties will include:

• Prepare food according to instructions and recipes
• Ensure sufficient food prep is done for the evening menu
• Running every service efficiently with great attention to detail and achieve guest satisfaction
• Working on the floor, as required, conversing with guests and assisting them in making a great choice for both food and beverage
• Ensuring the correct cleaning and set-up of the venue
• Manage food stock, food prep and food orders according to business levels on a daily basis
• Reduce waste by correct and efficient handling of food items
• To hold full working knowledge of Health, Hygiene and Safety when handling and working with various foods in a hospitality environment
• Ability to communicate efficiently both verbally and in writing with the remaining team to ensure seamless and smooth running of the operations of the whole venue
• Assisting with other tasks in the venue as required

The position is part time, around 20-30 hours per week, Saturday & Sunday and the occasional weekday, mainly Thursday and/or Friday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 140,00kr per hour
