Here is what the job entails
During your internship, you will be working with your team as well as the Product Managers in our Project Team. Together, you will be developing our application for the Windows, Android and iOS platforms. This includes communication with our meters through a serial or wireless connection.
We are developing our apps in Microsoft Visual Studio - .NET/C# from where you will be working with one or more of the following technologies during your internship:
- .NET / C#
- Cross-platform development in .NET MAUI
- XAML
- SQL / SQLite
- MVVM design pattern
- Build pipelines in GitLab
- Bluetooth and wM-Bus communication
The specific contents of your tasks will be planned according to your wishes and your competencies and will depend on the features we will implement. Experience in the technologies we use is not a requirement; the most important thing is that you are eager to learn.
Meet your future team
As our Intern in .NET App Development, you will become a part of a software team in our Water business unit - Hardware department, consisting of five Software Developers with backgrounds such as Software Engineers and Physicists. The team develops meter configuration solutions and field tool applications for Windows, Android, and iOS. We are continuously working on improving and optimizing our field tools, so they become more user-friendly. By doing so, we ensure our position as a customer-preferred partner in the field.

We are looking for a motivated student who is ready to work with applications and whose commitment and theoretical knowledge can contribute to further development across platforms.
In order to succeed, we imagine that you:
- Are studying Software Technology (IKT), Computer Science, or similar. Most importantly, you are passionate about developing applications
- Have an analytical mindset and enjoy solving complex problems
- Are proactive in seeking knowledge and value professional sparring
- Can work independently while being a strong team player
- Bring a critical sense that enables you to establish the best decision-making
As we are an international organisation it is important that you fluent in English both orally and written. Danish will be considered an advantage.
