Senior Manager - Digital & Engineering Excellence M/F
As the business owner of the ALM capability, you will act as the key link between Engineering, Product, Program teams, and IT. You will ensure business needs are translated into effective digital solutions while driving operational excellence across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Lead the business strategy, governance, and operational performance of the ALM domain.
Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and IT development teams.
Translate Digital Thread strategy into practical initiatives and business outcomes for ALM.
Gather and define business requirements and user stories.
Drive stakeholder engagement, user adoption, and change management activities.
Define and maintain lifecycle management processes, including:
- Requirements Management
- Test Management
- Risk Management
- Software Engineering
Manage feature prioritisation and roadmap planning in collaboration with IT and solution teams
Monitor KPIs and operational performance to ensure measurable business value
Lead major ALM implementations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives
Our requirements
Essential Experience & Competencies
Proven leadership experience in engineering, digital transformation, lifecycle management, or related disciplines
Strong understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Digital Thread principles
Experience working across business and IT functions, translating business requirements into technology solutions
Expertise in lifecycle processes including requirement management, Test management, Risk management and software engineering
Strong stakeholder management, networking and influencing skills across multiple organisational levels
Experience managing strategic programs, transformation initiatives, and change adoption
Demonstrated ability to define KPIs, measure outcomes, and deliver business value
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Preferred
Experience with ALM platforms such as Codebeamer or similar tools
Experience within complex engineering, manufacturing, product development, or industrial environments
Background in digital transformation, process excellence, or engineering systems
