Logistics Operations Coordinator

For my client, an international company with headquarters in the Netherlands (Limburg), I am currently looking for a Logistics Operations Coordinator to support its international supply chain activities.

This position offers a dynamic and varied workload and is well suited to a professional with a logistics/operation background who enjoys working in English and managing end-to-end order and shipment processes in an international environment.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing end-to-end logistics operations from order entry through to final cargo delivery, including coordination of quality assurance processes per shipment.
• Managing and monitoring international orders and shipments across all operational stages, from purchase order issuance to arrival at the final destination.
• Monitoring shipment progress, lead times, and operational performance, and proactively identifying potential delays or risks.
• Investigating, managing, and resolving logistics-related issues, deviations, or discrepancies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinating daily with international freight forwarders and logistics partners, including shipment tracking and status updates.
• Preparing, reviewing, and confirming transport and shipping documentation in line with international trade requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with agreed Incoterms and internal logistics procedures.

Requirements:

• Experience in logistics, supply chain coordination, or order management in an international environment.
• Strong operational and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and international logistics processes.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Clear and effective communication skills for coordination with external partners.
• Eligable to work in the Netherlands
