Job Summary**
As a Warehouse Manager at JD.com, Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics. You will lead and motivate a team to optimize performance and uphold our high standards of service.
Job Responsibilities**
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse layout, processes, and inventory control systems.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, logistics, customer service) to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage warehouse budget, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.
- Implement and maintain inventory management software and systems.
- Handle and resolve any operational issues, including damaged goods, discrepancies, and customer complaints.
- Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance to senior management.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in warehouse management, preferably in an e-commerce or large-scale retail environment.
- Proven track record of success in optimizing warehouse operations and improving efficiency.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
