Software Engineer

Job responsibilities

• Develop and maintain business applications using Java, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Support and monitor daily batch processes and resolve production incidents when necessary.
• Implement new features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on sprint priorities.
• Work with AWS cloud infrastructure and Terraform-based automation solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with distributed stakeholders.
• Analyze and understand existing systems independently, including reverse engineering legacy components when required.
• Utilize AI-powered development tools to accelerate software delivery and support cross-technology development tasks.
• Provide ongoing application maintenance and operational support.

Expectations

• 5 years of commercial software development experience
• Strong development background and willingness to work across multiple technology areas.
• Experience in either Java development or DevOps-related technologies; both are considered valuable.
• Familiarity with AWS and infrastructure-as-code concepts, preferably Terraform.
• Experience in AI-assisted software development tools.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and navigate complex systems with limited guidance.
• Understanding of Agile development practices and sprint-based delivery.
• Knowledge of Angular and TypeScript is an advantage.
• Openness to learning new technologies and occasionally working across different programming languages and ecosystems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and operational support.
• Appreciation for a collaborative work environment with a high degree of autonomy and low micromanagement.
