The Combustion Chamber team is in charge of the design for all components for the combustion chamber; cylinder liner, piston, cylinder cover and exhaust valve as well as a part of the engine structure; for all two-stroke marine engines in the Everllence portfolio. We are also involved in development projects across the entire organization.
You will play an important role in:
- Construct and optimize existing engine components
- Generate ideas as well as develop designs in corporation with your colleagues.
- Support our engine builders with production challenges
- Occasionally have the opportunity to travel to engine builders or ships in connection with follow-up on new designs.
- Be trained in technical areas that are necessary for handling the tasks and responsibilities in the department.
We imagine that you:
- Have relevant degree as a Mechanical Engineer or similar
- Have a desire and knowledge to translate theory into the practical design, both in corporation with co-workers and individually.
- Preferably, you have some experience with 3D cad programs – we use Siemens NX and some knowledge of diesel engines and/or practical construction experience would be an advantage.
- Having solid English skills both orally and in written are required. However, it is preferable that you also understand or have the desire to learn Danish on a reasonable level.
