Job Title: Junior Process Engineer Location: Katowice, Poland based, international scope Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Power Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Experience: 0–3 years of engineering experience, graduates and candidates with internship experience are welcome. Line Manager: Managing Director (PL) until department manager is appointed Functional Reporting Line: Process Engineering Lead As part of the continued development of DP CleanTech's engineering capabilities in Katowice, the Junior Process Engineer will support the design and development of biomass-fired boiler plants and related thermal process systems. Working closely with experienced engineers, the role involves assisting with process calculations, combustion studies, equipment sizing and process design activities for boilers and auxiliary systems such as pumps, valves, fans, air preheaters and burners. The Junior Process Engineer will cooperate with other engineering disciplines and contribute to the development and standardization of engineering solutions across DP CleanTech globally. As our projects are tailored to each client's specific requirements, including fuel type, waste streams and plant capacity, the role offers an opportunity to gain experience in process and conceptual boiler design while supporting the optimization of our technologies and products. The role may require visits to project sites, manufacturing facilities and/or customer sites depending on project and business requirements. Main responsibilities and tasks

Support the engineering team in the execution of energy plant projects.

Participate in the preparation of process engineering documentation.

Prepare and update P&IDs and PFDs using AVEVA diagram, and maintain the related engineering lists and process data in AVEVA Engineering

Support process calculations and engineering analyses.

Review and verify technical documentation received from vendors.

Cooperate with designers, automation engineers and other engineering disciplines.

Participate in project meetings and technical discussions.

Support the preparation of technical proposals and tender documentation.

Contribute to the development, maintenance and updating of the company's standard engineering documentation.

Support commissioning activities when required.
Required skills
-
University degree in Engineering or final-year student status (preferred fields: Power Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or related disciplines).

Previous internship or initial work experience in the industrial, energy or engineering sector would be an advantage.

Basic understanding of industrial processes and technical documentation.

Basic knowledge or experience in preparing and updating P&IDs would be considered an advantage.

Good knowledge of MS Office applications.

Communicative English skills, both written and spoken.

Willingness to learn and develop within the field of process engineering.

Good teamwork and organizational skills.

Familiarity with AVEVA or similar engineering design and documentation software would be considered an advantage.

Willingness to visit project, manufacturing or customer sites as required by project and business needs.
