As an Intellectual Property Administrator in our Global Legal Affairs department, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding Topsoe’s innovations and supporting our mission to lead carbon emission reduction technologies. You will be involved in a variety of intellectual property (IP) tasks, collaborating closely with Patent Counsels, fellow IP Administrators, and Inventors. Your work will directly contribute to Topsoe’s global presence and innovation, ensuring our IP assets are protected across diverse markets.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Handling incoming emails related to the IP portfolio
  • Creating and closing due dates in our IP management system
  • Overseeing the preparation and filing of assignment documents
  • Online filing of patent applications (DK, EP, PCT)
  • Coordinating national filings worldwide through our network of foreign patent agents
  • Supporting Patent Counsels
  • Managing administrative tasks related to invoices

You bring a structured and energetic approach to your work, with a keen eye for detail and a positive mindset when facing challenges. You thrive in a busy international environment with multiple deadlines and value being part of a collaborative team, even though you enjoy working independently.

We are looking for:

  • Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of administrative rules related to IP
  • A degree in languages or a similar with a genuine interest in intellectual property
  • Ideally, you have passed the Qualified Intellectual Property Administrator (QIPA) exam and have experience from an in-house position, but candidates from private practice are equally encouraged to apply
  • Fluency in English, experience with patent administration, strong IT skills, and an interest in process improvement

You will join a fast-paced, dynamic IP team at our headquarters in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark. Our team works closely with R&D and business , primarily on an in-house basis, covering all aspects of intellectual property. You will collaborate with Patent Counsels, fellow IP Administrators, and Inventors, contributing to a supportive and innovative environment that values teamwork and shared success.
