The Hoxton is a collection of open-house hotels, each with its own character and a strong connection to its neighbourhood. Job Description What you’ll do…
Recruitment, Selection & Onboarding
- Support recruitment activities, including job advertising, CV screening, telephone interviews and preparing contracts and offers
- Coordinate onboarding for new starters, including onboarding plans, system access and People Inductions
- Monitor temporary contract expiry dates and support timely follow-up
Talent Management & Employee Relations
- Support the employee lifecycle by monitoring 30-day and annual reviews and following up where needed
- Support the quarterly L&D calendar and coordinate engagement initiatives and surveys
- Act as a first point of contact for day-to-day People queries
- Support the Hox Squad and help organise monthly team get-togethers
People Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records, trackers, HR systems and review systems
- Support the annual legal audit of employee files
- Support hour registration and payroll processes
- Stay up to date with Dutch employment legislation and People-related requirements
Qualifications
What we’re looking for...
- It’s all about attitude for us. You’re helpful, approachable and the person people feel confident coming to with any question.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within hospitality.
- Passion for creating a positive workplace culture and enhancing employee experience
- You execute. You’re organised, detail-oriented and able to juggle priorities while getting things done.
- You’re familiar with HR systems, payroll processes and Microsoft Office, and communicate clearly in English. Dutch is a plus.
- You handle confidential information with care, professionalism and discretion.
