You apply off-site, with the employer or the job board. I never handle applications.
Keep IFDK's digital workplace secure, connected, and running smoothly — everywhere in the world
Do you want to be the person who makes sure that every colleague — whether in Copenhagen, Nairobi, Sao Paulo, Lagos, Kyiv, Johannesburg, or New Delhi — has a secure, reliable, and well-functioning digital workplace? And are you ready to take hands-on ownership of both the collaboration tools we use every day and the security controls that protect them?
At Impact Fund Denmark, you join a mission-driven organisation with a clear purpose — to finance projects that bring sustainable development to life, from forestry in Paraguay to solar energy in Brazil and diagnostics in Bangladesh.
Here is what you get with us:
- A hands-on, high-impact role across our entire Microsoft 365 estate, with real ownership of both collaboration and security
- The opportunity to shape how a global, growing organisation works, connects, and stays secure
- Access to the full Microsoft enterprise stack, including Defender, Sentinel, Intune, and Entra ID, in a modern, cloud-first environment
Global impact, strong IT culture and meaningful teamwork
Impact Fund Denmark is Denmark's development finance institution, investing in sustainable solutions that create measurable impact in developing countries. While headquartered in Copenhagen, our work extends across more than 45 countries, supported by six regional offices, uniting more than 30 nationalities under one purpose.
You will be part of the Technology & Operations team, which is currently expanding, including specialists in processes, architecture, data, and IT Security. Here, you will join experienced and collaborative professionals who are eager to share knowledge and support each other across disciplines.
The position is based on-site in Copenhagen.
The team
A place where great ideas can come from anyone
Joining us means becoming part of a warm, ambitious, and genuinely collaborative Technology & Operations Team. We are a group that thrives on shared purpose, celebrates each other's wins, and is not afraid to roll up our sleeves when things get complex. Our work spans a broad range of initiatives that shape the organisation's digital backbone — but what truly defines us is how we do it: together.
You will be surrounded by talented colleagues who bring curiosity, professionalism, and a healthy sense of humour to the table. We challenge each other, support each other, and take pride in creating solutions that make a real difference across the organisation. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are building a culture where learning is continuous and where you will have the space to influence how we work.
You keep our digital workplace secure, connected, and running smoothly
We are looking for a Digital Workplace Specialist to take hands-on ownership of the tools, devices, and security controls that our colleagues rely on every day. You will work across our full Microsoft 365 estate — from intranet and collaboration platforms to endpoint security — and take accountability for keeping it secure, well-governed, and easy to use, wherever in the world our colleagues are based.
You will, for example:
- Global device deployment: own and drive the global rollout and lifecycle management of our laptop estate, coordinating imaging, provisioning, shipping, and support across our regional offices
- Security and Access: take accountability for the security part of our setup, including day-to-day operation, monitoring, and tuning of Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel, as well as managing IAM setups, data privacy rules, and safe file-sharing practices
- On-premises transition: support and help drive our ongoing transition away from remaining on-premises solutions toward modern, cloud-first Microsoft 365 services
- Tool Management: set up and maintain platforms such as our Microsoft 365 company intranet, Teams, and SharePoint, ensuring they remain secure, current, and easy to use
- User Support: troubleshoot software and device issues and help staff across the organisation use our digital tools efficiently
- Training and Adoption: create clear guides and lead training sessions that help employees learn and adopt new technology with confidence
- Process Improvement: identify, test, and roll out new digital solutions that save time, strengthen security, and boost teamwork
- Project delivery: plan and launch software and hardware rollouts on time, tracking user adoption and success
- Collaboration: work closely with colleagues in IT Security, Data, and Business Applications to align on architecture, standards, and best practice
You bring hands-on technical skill and a service-minded approach
With your background in digital workplace or IT support, you understand how to balance user needs with strong security practice, and you enjoy being the person people turn to when technology needs to just work.
We imagine that you:
- Technical Knowledge: have a strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Entra ID), cloud collaboration tools, and solid IT troubleshooting skills
- Security experience: have practical experience with, or a genuine aptitude for, security tools such as Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel
- Communication: write and speak clearly, and can explain technical ideas to non-technical staff across cultures and time zones
- Project Management: are able to launch new software and hardware rollouts on time and track user adoption and success
- Problem-Solving: think quickly and pragmatically to resolve daily tech glitches and user frustrations
Bonus points if you:
- Have experience with Intune or similar endpoint management tools for global device deployment
- Are familiar with IAM, data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR), and secure file-sharing practices
- Have supported a migration away from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud
- Have experience working across multiple countries, cultures, or time zones
Our technology stack
Our current environment is built on Microsoft technology and continues to evolve. You will work with:
- Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Intune)
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Sentinel
- Microsoft Entra ID (identity and access management)
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Our global laptop and device estate
- Remaining on-premises systems currently transitioning to the cloud
What we offer
- An opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects with real social and environmental impact
- A hands-on role with real ownership across collaboration, devices, and security
- A collaborative, value-driven, and international work environment
- Opportunities for professional development, training, and continuous learning
- A brand-new office with modern facilities close to Nordhavn Metro and S-Train station
