Position Summary
As a key member of the Regional EMEA Interventional Business Unit Leadership Team, the Country Sales Manager oversees the sales and business development activities of the Interventional portfolio leading the commercial activities in Austria.
Principal Responsibilities
- Execution of Teleflex strategies via the local Sales and Commercial teams which may include Market Developers and Product Specialists.
- Understand and communicates to internal stakeholders the market dynamics and customer and competitive trends of the country.
- Development of a short, medium and long-term Commercial Strategic Plan for the country in conjunction with the Regional Commercial Director.
- In close collaboration with Marketing colleagues and CMA, develop and execute strategic marketing, sales, commercial and education plans to deliver on the Annual Operating Plan revenue, profit and market share goals.
- Ensure close interaction with regulatory and marketing colleagues to ensure product availability.
- Organize and participate in field visits with local personnel and develop long lasting relationships and partnerships with HCPs and KOLs.
- Negotiate and communicate with local GPO organizations in conjunction with the Strategic Accounts Manager.
- In collaboration with CMA & Central Marketing develop and attend HCP engagement programs to showcase TFX products.
- Ensure compliance policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.
- Ensure any available CRM system is updated by the local teams to capture the activity and sales pipeline.
- Conduct regular business reviews with the local Commercial Team.
- Collaborate in forecasting and business analysis to ensure Teleflex has the most up to date information on which to base financial and operational decisions.
- Develop and conduct regular business reviews with the sales organization using activity metrics, sales and market data and other available resources to enhance visibility of the business performance and to make appropriate strategic and tactical decisions.
- Management of the Country Commercial budget.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences or Nursing/ Medical is preferred.
- 5-10 years of Commercial/ Marketing Leadership in the Medtech environment.
- A demonstrated track record for meeting sales objectives in a Medtech company.
- Demonstrated experience in multi-level, major account-based sales processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of people having varying backgrounds, education and experience.
- Strong Project Management and Business Analysis skills.
- Highly proficient with MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Business Analysis
- High degree of initiative.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel extensively.

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 80%.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Remote/Field-based
We offer a permanent position classified in Group G in accordance with the Austrian Collective Agreement for Employees and Apprentices in Commercial Enterprises.
The minimum monthly gross salary under the collective agreement is €70.910 (full-time, 38.5 hours per week).
We are committed to offering a competitive salary and therefore guarantee a minimum annual gross salary of €70.910, with the possibility of overpayment depending on your qualifications and experience.
