Overall Purpose of the Job

Subject matter expert (SME) for KYC (Know Your Customer)

Intended to conduct KYC activities
-
Partly supporting daily banking business for Japanese corporate clients The role includes the following:
-
Collection of required documents/information for KYC reviews
-
Check on accuracy of documents/information for KYC reviews
-
Analysis of data/ information for KYC reviews
-
Performing Customer Screening
-
Performing Customer Assessment
-
Recording data/information for KYC reviews
-
Contacting a customer and other relevant parties in order to finalise KYC review
-
Performing Sanctions Due Diligence
-
Due date management of KYC reviews
-
Customer outreach regarding KYC issues In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:

Preferred is an a pprenticeship as a bank clerk or other commercial area, if combined with relevant work experience in a bank

Preferably 3 years of experience

Good knowledge of software skills (Excel and Word)

Fluency in English and in Japanese . German language skill is highly preferred Personal requirements:
