Responsibilities
Team Coordination
Coordinate DevOps Engineers, Engineers, and Architects within the platform team and ensure effective delivery across technical areas
Request Management
Act as the gatekeeper for incoming requests, managing priorities, capacity, assignment, and competing demands
Delivery Coordination
Coordinate tickets, operational activities, and larger transformation projects across the platform environment
Dependency Management
Manage sequencing and dependencies across teams, technical areas, and infrastructure components
Work Organization
Structure and organize technical work so specialists can focus on delivery rather than administration and coordination
Progress Tracking
Track delivery progress and proactively communicate status, delays, risks, blockers, and dependencies
Stakeholder Alignment
Coordinate with business and external stakeholders to maintain clear communication, alignment, and expectations
Prioritization & Trade-offs
Support teams in prioritizing operational requests against project work and make appropriate delivery trade-offs
Ownership & Continuity
Ensure clear ownership, responsibilities, and backup arrangements across the technical team
Requirements
Delivery Management
Proven experience as a Technical Delivery Manager, Delivery Manager, Technical Project Manager, IT Project Manager, Technical Product Owner, or similar role
Technical Team Coordination
Experience coordinating technical teams, particularly DevOps, Engineering, and Architecture functions
IT Environment
Professional background in IT, infrastructure, or platform environments
Delivery Planning
Strong skills in prioritization, capacity management, dependency management, and delivery coordination
Agile Delivery
Good understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and IT delivery processes
Technical Understanding
Ability to understand technical concepts including networking, compute, storage, security, key management, and infrastructure dependencies
Risk & Complexity Management
Ability to ask the right questions, understand technical complexity, challenge estimates, and identify risks and dependencies
Stakeholder Management
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with confidence in prioritizing competing demands and making trade-offs
Communication & Cloud
Fluent written and spoken English and understanding of cloud or infrastructure technologies, with AWS preferred and Azure or GCP also relevant
