Tree worker

As a Tree Worker, you will help with the cultivation and care of young trees. Depending on the season, you will perform different tasks such as crop care, fertilising, tying and pruning. You will also help maintain the container fields.

Besides taking care of the trees, you will support the logistics process. You will collect and process sold trees, check the products and prepare customer orders for shipment.

This combination of cultivation and logistics makes the position varied throughout the year. You will work outdoors and contribute to making sure the trees are healthy, well cared for and ready to be delivered to customers.

Responsibilities

• Taking care of young trees and plants
• Performing crop care and fertilisation
• Tying and pruning trees
• Maintaining the container fields
• Collecting and processing sold trees
• Checking tree species and quantities
• Checking pot size, height and quality
• Preparing customer orders for shipment
• Supporting different activities depending on the season

About the role

In this position, you will work at Combinatie Mauritz in Opheusden through Weflex Personeelsdiensten. Combinatie Mauritz is an established tree nursery with a wide range of tree species and a strong focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainable cultivation.

You will work in a practical outdoor environment together with a dedicated team. The work varies throughout the seasons, so your daily activities can change depending on what needs to be done at the nursery.

Your working hours are from 07:00 to 16:00.
