Your Task

• Support of sales processes for business customers (B2B) by preparing configurations and valuations of IT infrastructure solutions.
• Analysis of customer technical requirements and tender documentation, requests for quotations and design specifications.
• Selection and configuration of server solutions, storage and network infrastructure based on the business and technical requirements of customers.
• Work with manufacturers' configurators to prepare correct and complete hardware configurations.
• Create, develop and verify Bill of Materials (BoM) statements covering equipment, licenses, service services and technical support.
• Calculating the cost of solutions, licenses, warranties, and support and maintenance packages.
• Verification of the compliance of the proposed configurations with customer requirements, manufacturers' standards and design guidelines.
• Collaborate with the sales team, engineers, manufacturers and distributors in the preparation of quotations and calculations.
• Registration of projects in partner programs of producers and preparation of applications for special trading conditions.
• Obtaining information on prices, product availability and design conditions.
• Preparation of alternative and comparative offers and mapping of solutions between manufacturers.
• Identifying errors, inconsistencies and missing elements in the configurations being prepared.
• Participation in the development and standardization of processes related to the configuration and valuation of ICT solutions.
• Reporting to the Presales Team Leader and supporting the implementation of the organization's business goals.

Your Profile

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the role of Presales, Valuation and Configuration Specialist, Sales Engineer or similar.
• Experience gained with an ICT integrator, technology manufacturer or VAD distributor will be a great asset.
• Practical knowledge of at least one of the configurators from manufacturers such as Dell Technologies, HPE or Lenovo.
• Experience in preparing configurations and estimates of IT infrastructure.
• Knowledge of server infrastructure, storage and basic network solutions.
• Experience in creating and verifying BoM (Bill of Materials) statements.
• Knowledge of the principles of selection of infrastructure components, in particular processors, RAM, disks, controllers, network cards and power supplies.
• Ability to analyze technical documentation, tender requirements and requests for quotations.
• Knowledge of licensing of server and infrastructure solutions.
• Ability to select warranties, service services and appropriate SLA levels.
• Knowledge of Deal Registration, Special Bid or similar processes related to obtaining special trading conditions.
• Ability to cooperate with manufacturers, distributors and sales teams.
• Good knowledge of English to work with technical documentation and manufacturers' portals.
• Analytical thinking skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Independence, good organization of work and the ability to perform many tasks at the same time.

Competence in one or more of the following areas (knowledge of all environments will be a great asset)

Server infrastructure

• Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant or Lenovo ThinkSystem platforms
• selection and configuration of server components,
• Designing environments for performance and availability requirements.

• SAN, NAS and HCI solutions,
• enterprise-class storage technologies
• selection of performance, capacity and redundancy mechanisms.

• basic knowledge of network infrastructure,

Welcomed

• Experience gained in organizations such as TD SYNNEX, Arrow, Ingram Micro, AB, Action, ASBIS or other companies in the ICT market.
• Familiarity with Dell PowerEdge and PowerStore, HPE ProLiant and Alletra, and Lenovo ThinkSystem
• Experience in preparing configurations using GPU accelerators.
• Knowledge of Microsoft licensing.
• Experience in preparing tenders for the public sector and tendering procedures.
• Experience working with enterprise-class infrastructure projects.
• Certified by Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, Microsoft, or VMware/Broadcom
