Financial Data Analyst

• hybrid work: 4 days per week from the office + 1 day remotely,
• location: Warsaw,
• employment based on a B2B contract.

Responsibilities:

• reviewing accounting and contract data, identifying and investigating discrepancies,
• analysing contract values and comparing them with actual costs,
• working with business owners to understand variances and update data where necessary,
• reviewing inactive contracts and ensuring data remains accurate and up to date,
• collaborating with the Technology team to improve the way contract data is recorded and reported,
• working with external partners to prepare monthly data related to leasehold improvements,
• loading data into the FP&A forecasting tool on a monthly basis and ensuring its accuracy and reconciliation,
• supporting financial reporting and analysis.

Requirements:

• experience in finance, FP&A, controlling, or financial control,
• a good understanding of how financial data flows between systems and feeds into reporting and forecasting,
• experience in reconciling financial data and identifying the root causes of discrepancies,
• very good knowledge of Excel and MS Office,
• strong attention to detail and high standards of work,
• independence, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines,
• strong communication and collaboration skills,
• a proactive mindset and willingness to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements,
• curiosity about the business and an interest in understanding the wider financial context,
• openness to new technologies and automation,
• familiarity with LLM/AI tools, either professionally or personally.

Nice to have:

• experience with CRM or contract management systems,
• knowledge of FP&A / EPM tools,
• experience in data visualisation, dashboards, and reporting,
• experience working with financial or contract data.
