We are Geely Auto Europe, operating under Geely Auto International Corporation. The organization manages two brands – Geely and Zeekr – and supports business activities across nearly 20 European countries. As procurement team in this company, we provide scalable, compliant and high-quality procurement support, covering marketing, aftersales, IT, HR and other professional services to enable sustainable brand growth in Europe.

The role

The role Your role will be to conduct research and continuously benchmark potential suppliers, vendors, and other industry trends as a source of accurate and up-to-date information for purchasing activities. You will work towards a commodity-based structure and take full commodity responsibility, which will have a significant impact on the company’s success.

This is what you will do:

As a Buyer Accessories, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the sourcing strategy for your commodity area while collaborating with stakeholders across Europe and China.

• Partner with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Accessories, R&D, Finance, and other business functions to manage supplier selection, contract awards, and commercial agreements.
• Drive procurement performance and deliver against key business and procurement KPIs, ensuring optimal cost, quality, delivery, and innovation outcomes.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies and Commodity Business Plans that support business objectives and long-term growth.
• Lead end-to-end supplier negotiations and establish robust commercial contracts that safeguard the company's interests while fostering sustainable supplier partnerships.
• Continuously challenge and optimize the supplier base, identifying opportunities to improve commercial performance, efficiency, quality, and innovation.
• Collaborate closely with purchasing teams across Geely Europe to leverage synergies, share best practices, and align sourcing activities.
• Engage with colleagues and stakeholders in Geely China to align on product specifications, technical requirements, and cost structures.
• Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to identify opportunities, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support successful accessory development programs and business objectives.
• Occasional international travel will be required.

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

• A minimum of 5yearsofpurchasingexperience within a dynamic and fast-growing organization. Experience in procurement within a technicalorindustrial****environment is required, including involvement in cross-functional projects and project management activities.
• A proven track record of delivering procurement results through effective spend management, investment optimization, and the development of strong, long-lasting relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong negotiationandcontractmanagementskills, with experience establishing and maintaining strategic, long-term supplier partnerships that create value for all parties involved.
• Excellent analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, define strategic sourcing initiatives, and align procurement activities with broader business objectives.
• The ability to influence and collaborate across multifunctional teams to ensure successful execution. You are proactive, hands-on, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment, supported by strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A university degree in Procurement,SupplyChain****Management,BusinessAdministration,InternationalRelations, or a related field.
• Automotive industry experience and familiarity with SAP are considered strong advantages.
• Demonstrated success in influencing stakeholders and building effective working relationships within an international and multicultural environment.
• Strong expertise in strategic****sourcing,suppliermanagement,negotiation,andcontractmanagement.
