Your responsibilities:

  • Support local Critical Power leaders and HSE experts in in understanding obligations, liabilities and requirements
  • Ensure all HSE policies in place and used effectively across all Critical Power local commercial units
  • Embed HSE requirements into the sales and tendering process — ensuring bids and contracts reflect realistic site safety obligations, resourcing, and costs.
  • Partner with Project Management to integrate HSE planning into project execution: kickoff risk reviews, site mobilization checklists, and close-out/lessons-learned reviews.
  • Support customer HSE pre-qualification processes and represent the Business in customer safety audits and site safety interfaces.
  • Set global KPIs/targets (TRIFR, LTIFR, severity rate, near-miss/leading indicator reporting) specific to site and field activity, and report performance to commercial leadership.
  • Chair or lead the commercial organization’s HSE steering committee/governance reviews with regional Sales, PM, and Service leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with local site-safety and contractor regulations across all operating countries, working with legal and regional teams to track regulatory change.
  • Act as a visible safety leader, coaching regional Sales, PM, and Service managers and embedding safety accountability into commercial leadership routines.
  • Provide regular HSE performance and risk reporting to commercial leadership and senior management.
  • Manage relationships with customers (on site safety interfaces), insurers, and external auditors globally.

Qualifications for the Role :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field;
  • Five-to-ten years of progressive HSE experience, including at least 3–5 years in a global or multi-region leadership role focused on field/site operations
  • Strong background in site-based installation, commissioning, or service environments within electrical, power electronics, energy, or heavy industrial equipment sectors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in high-voltage/electrical safety, arc-flash risk management, working at height, and contractor management on third-party sites.
  • Experience embedding HSE into sales/tendering and project delivery processes for large-scale contracts is a strong advantage
  • Experience working in a global matrix organization, influencing Sales, Project Management, and Service leadership without direct authority.
