Chef & Front of House Couple – Private Estate, Oxfordshire

A private family is seeking an experienced Chef & Front of House Couple to join their beautiful estate in Oxfordshire on a full-time basis. This is a long-term position offering private accommodation in a cottage on the estate.

The Chef will be responsible for everything from relaxed family meals through to larger dinner parties and entertaining. They are looking for someone versatile and confident who can adapt their cooking to the occasion while consistently producing food to a high standard.

The Front of House role will oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the house, with a particular focus on service when the family are entertaining. Responsibilities will include table service, serving wine and drinks, preparing the house for guests and ensuring everything runs seamlessly around lunches, dinners and weekends.

There is already an established team in place, including security, a full-time cleaner, farm manager and gardener, so the couple will work alongside the existing staff rather than being responsible for the entire property.

This is primarily a weekend-focused role, as this is when the family entertain and spend the most time at the property. Days off will therefore generally fall during the week, unless the family are away during school holidays.

The couple will be provided with a two-bedroom cottage with a private garden in a fantastic location in Oxfordshire. The couple must have rights to work in the UK.

Experience required: Previous private household, estate, villa or superyacht experience preferred
