Experienced Consultant on Principal level within Industrial Operations

Your mission

We are now strengthening our Nordic team with an experienced consultant on Principal level who knows industrial operations from the inside, either from Discrete Manufacturing or Forest & Packaging Industry. Whether your background is in manufacturing/operations excellence (MAKE) or Value Chain, and whether you come from consulting or from an industrial role, what matters most is your credibility, drive, and ability to deliver real results.

The role

As a Consultant / Senior Consultant at EFESO Nordics, you will:

• Deliver and manage client engagements within Operations Excellence (WCOM/TPM/Lean) and/or Value Chain (S&OP, planning, footprint, inventory, cost-to-serve)
• Lead project workstreams end-to-end; scoping, delivery, quality, and impact
• Coach client teams and junior colleagues in our tandem delivery model
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with client stakeholders
• Contribute to proposals, business development, and thought leadership in your industry
• Apply data and Industrial AI as accelerators of operational excellence

Your profile

You are an experienced professional who combines deep industry understanding with strong delivery capability. You are likely to have:

• 10+ years of relevant experience within Discrete Manufacturing or Forest & Packaging industry
• A background in either MAKE or Value Chain, both are equally welcome
• A track record of delivering measurable operational improvements
• At least one clear area of spike expertise, combined with a broad understanding of industrial operations
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, credible from shop floor to boardroom
• Experience of project or workstream management, ideally in a consulting environment

We value industry credibility, personal drive, and a solution-oriented mindset over a specific consulting pedigree or an exact MAKE-vs-Value-Chain profile.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Industrial Engineering & Management, Engineering, or equivalent, or strong industrial experience that compensates for formal background
• Fluent English; Swedish, Finnish, or German at working level is a strong advantage
• Proficient in Excel and standard consulting tools
• Driver's licence and willingness to travel within the Nordics

Experience with WCOM, TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, S&OP/IBP, Industry 4.0, advanced analytics, or Industrial AI is considered an advantage.#### Why us?
