Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop and test innovative battery systems for automotive applications based on state-of-the-art lithium ion technology.
The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz. Samsung SDI is a full-service supplier for lithium ion cells, battery modules and battery packs for all electric vehicles as well as all types of hybrid vehicles.
Your core responsibilities are:
- Support to shape and optimize the procurement processes
- Responsible for interface activities of engineering and operation between local business unit and headquarter in Korea to coordinate engineering information and issues to monitor and to guide pack development projects
- Coordinate collaboration between headquarter in Korea and local business unit for development projects and general operations
- Manage product development and change management process via ensuring standardized implementation in projects
- Plan and manage development and operational investments, including budget planning, approval, execution tracking, and variance management
- Execute monitoring, controlling, and standardization of processes and risks (cost, quality, delivery)
- Perform regular program monitoring, reporting, and review meetings
- Continuously improve development planning, operational processes, reporting, and investment management What you need is:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business administration or related fields.
- Minimum of 2-years relevant experience, preferably in automotive, battery or similar industries
- Experience in project planning/management and cost controlling
- Very good knowledge in MS-Office (Excel, PPT, Word) and MS-Project is an advantage
- Strong knowledge in SAP(ERP), Teamcenter, PTC, PLM systems are desirable
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a structured and process-oriented mindset.
- High-Quality Awareness and continuous improvement mindset
- Analytical thinking, independent and team-oriented work, good communication skills and excellent organizational skills
- Fluent in English and Korean, both written and spoken (minimum level B2); German is an advantage Our offer for you:
With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 55.000,-
We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
