What this job involves:
Lead JLL's delivery of client sustainability data management, reporting, and disclosure programs. Primary accountability for comprehensive sustainability data collection, quality assurance, external reporting, and stakeholder engagement aligned with corporate sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage sustainability data program including GHG accounting, utility tracking, and environmental reporting platforms
Lead preparation of annual Sustainable Impact Report and responses to external sustainability rating agencies (CDP, DJSI, RE100, CSRD)
Oversee data collection processes ensuring timely, accurate, audit-ready sustainability information
Develop and maintain reporting processes, SOPs, and documentation (Carbon Accounting Manual, Water Account Manual)
Coordinate third-party assurance audits including documentation preparation and auditor engagement
Monitor emerging sustainability regulations and disclosure standards; advise on compliance requirements
Manage quarterly self-audits and performance KPIs for data accuracy and deliverable timeliness
Oversee automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency and data quality
Provide strategic oversight of environmental accounting system administration
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Expertise in GHG accounting methodologies (GHG Protocol, Scope 1-3 calculations)
Experience managing multi-site sustainability data collection and utility data programs
Knowledge of sustainability frameworks: CDP, DJSI, GRI, TCFD, SASB
Experience supporting third-party sustainability assurance/audits
Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with environmental data management systems
Excellent communication skills for technical sustainability topics across diverse audiences
Strong cross-functional collaboration abilities
