Join IMBA as an Infrastructure Security Engineer (Security / Hardening / SIEM) to drive security improvements across its infrastructure. The role works across platforms and services to strengthen the institute’s security posture, with a focus on hardening, security monitoring and SIEM, vulnerability follow-up, and the ongoing development of operational security standards. • Review infrastructure patterns, services, and technical changes from a security angle
  • Work with infrastructure and application teams to put practical security improvements in place
  • Help strengthen security across Linux, containers, cloud, identity, and services

Your profile

Required:

  • Experience in infrastructure, platform, or operational security
  • Good understanding of hardening across Linux, cloud, or hybrid environments

  • Strong analytical skills, able to work across teams and technical domains
  • Pragmatic, structured approach to security improvements
  • Good communication skills, able to translate security requirements into concrete measures

Preferred:

  • Experience with container, Kubernetes, or OpenShift security
  • Familiarity with identity and access security
  • Experience with incident handling or security operations
  • Experience with compliance-oriented baselines and controls
  • Experience in a mixed on-prem and cloud environment

  • Cafeteria, on-site kindergarten, public transport subsidy (Jobticket), and much more
  • An annual gross salary starting from € 65,000 (approx. € 4,643 gross per month, paid 14 times a year), with a willingness to pay more depending on your professional qualification and experience.
