About this role
Client: ABN AMRO
The external contractor will take over responsibilities from a contractor transitioning off the project and play a key role within the SDR team, supporting regulatory remediation initiatives related to the nCino data migration programme, Basel IV / CRR regulatory changes and subsequent aftercare activities.
The job
The contractor will support the SDR domain in delivering high-quality remediation outcomes, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement, accurate data remediation and alignment across multiple workstreams.
Key activities include:
Supporting the SDR team in Basel IV, nCino, DoD and/or FML remediation programmes.
Coordinating and executing remediation and aftercare activities in line with agreed timelines and quality standards.
Acting as a point of contact for assigned SDR-related activities.
Facilitating collaboration between business, data, technology, risk and project stakeholders.
Supporting implementation activities related to Remendo and GenAI-enabled solutions.
Contributing to data quality remediation, collateral data analysis and regulatory impact assessments.
Supporting extraction, analysis and validation of both structured and unstructured data sources.
Assisting with issue resolution, risk identification and escalation where appropriate.
Driving continuous improvement through data analysis, automation and AI technologies.
Results:
Successfully deliver assigned remediation and aftercare activities in line with agreed milestones and planning.
Complete assigned deliverables within agreed timelines and quality standards.
Maintain effective stakeholder alignment through structured communication and progress reporting.
Contribute to successful implementation of Remendo and GenAI-related initiatives where applicable.
Identify, analyse and remediate collateral and credit risk data quality issues impacting regulatory reporting and risk processes.
Improve data quality, traceability, consistency and remediation effectiveness across the programme.
Support successful delivery of regulatory change initiatives through accurate, complete and well-governed data.
Ensure deliverables support regulatory compliance objectives and reduce operational and regulatory risk.

Your skills
Education
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
Ervaring
Junior: 1-4 years' experience in banking, data management, risk data, finance data or regulatory reporting.
Medior: 4+ years' experience in banking, risk management, data management or regulatory change programmes.
Experience with credit risk, Basel, AIRB, IFRS 9 and/or regulatory reporting data is preferred.
Experience with data remediation, data quality, reconciliation and regulatory data transformations.
Experience working with collateral-related data within banking environments, preferably across multiple financial institutions.
Experience supporting data migration or remediation initiatives is a plus.
Technical Skills
SQL and data analysis.
Python programming skills.
Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
Experience with data quality, remediation and reconciliation activities.
Competences

Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Preferred experience includes:
Working with data supporting credit risk processes, such as AIRB, IFRS 9, Basel IV/CRR3 and regulatory reporting.
Hands-on experience with collateral data used in banking risk and regulatory processes.
Experience with collateral data and collateral processes acquired outside ABN AMRO, preferably across multiple financial institutions or consulting engagements.
Experience sourcing, aggregating, transforming, validating and remediating data used in regulatory and credit risk processes.
Experience improving data quality, completeness, lineage and governance in a banking environment.
Experience within large banking organisations and familiarity with the Dutch banking sector is advantageous.
Exposure to GenAI, document extraction or advanced analytics solutions is considered a plus.
Our offer
Hourly rate: €75 - €106,50
