Jira Administrator & Application Support Specialist

We are seeking a Jira Administrator & Application Support Specialist to join a dynamic enterprise-scale IT ecosystem supporting agile delivery teams. This is a long-term opportunity to work with a SAP customer, a technology leader in the enterprise software domain, currently undergoing a transformation to modernize and scale its Jira-based backlog and test management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support end-user requests and process them according to defined operational guidelines
• Maintain and extend automation rules using Jira Automation
• Develop and manage workflows using Jira Misc Workflow Extensions (JMWE)
• Manage Xray Test Management configurations and permissions
• Configure and support Structure for Jira boards and reports
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve configuration or integration problems
• Develop Python scripts or REST integrations to support custom reporting or automation
• Participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis
• Support ongoing cloud migration initiatives, including app gap analysis and re-platforming

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience administering Jira in an enterprise environment
• Expertise in Jira Automation, Jira Misc Workflow Extensions (JMWE), and Xray Test Management
• Knowledge of Structure for Jira boards and reports configuration
• Proficiency in Python scripting and REST API integrations for custom reporting and automation
• Experience in troubleshooting application configuration and integration issues
• Background in incident resolution and root cause analysis
• Familiarity with cloud migration processes, including app gap analysis and re-platforming
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
