About Sweed Beauty
Sweed is a Swedish prestige beauty brand redefining effortless beauty through innovative, clean and vegan products inspired by the Scandinavian approach to beauty. With a fast-growing global presence across retail, e-commerce, and social platforms, we're on a mission to build one of the world's leading beauty brands.
The role
We are looking for an Accounting Associate to join our finance team in Stockholm.
This is a broad, hands-on finance role in a growing company. You will support day-to-day bookkeeping and AP/AR, and you will be responsible for making sure our B2B order flow runs correctly from order entry to a matching, accurate invoice. Alongside that, you will maintain the commercial master data - SKUs, price lists and product information - that our finance numbers ultimately depend on.
You will thrive here if you are meticulous and well-organised, and if you want a finance role with a commercial pulse - close to the orders, the customers and the products behind the numbers.
What you will do
Bookkeeping and accounting
- Support in ongoing bookkeeping: recording transactions, reconciliations and account maintenance.
- Manage accounts payable: register and process supplier invoices, prepare payment runs, resolve invoice queries.
- Manage accounts receivable: issue and follow up customer invoices, monitor overdue balances and support collections.
- Support the monthly close with reconciliations, accruals and supporting documentation.
- Support the annual audit and year-end process with documentation and reconciliations.
Order processing
- Enter, process and follow up B2B orders globally, from order entry through to delivery.
- Ensure every B2B order leaves our warehouse within the deadline.
- Ensure every order has a corresponding, correct invoice.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in the order-to-invoice flow.
- Work closely with Operations to ensure correct invoicing and delivery.
Master data and product information
- Own and maintain master data: SKUs, product files, price lists and assortment.
- Ensure product information is correct and up to date across relevant systems.
- Coordinate assortment and pricing updates internally and towards external partners.
Commercial support and coordination
- Carry out and coordinate ongoing screenings of online retailers; document and report findings internally for follow-up.
- Coordinate logistics and distribution of assets and materials to B2B customers, making sure the right material reaches the right partner on time.
- Work closely with Operations, Sales and Marketing - contributing to clear processes and effective information sharing across teams.
We are looking for someone who
- Has a degree in accounting, finance, business administration or economics - recent graduates are very welcome to apply.
- Has 0–2 years of experience from a similar role (accounting, AP/AR, order administration, finance assistant or equivalent).
- Is fluent in English, spoken and written
- Is comfortable in Excel and picks up new systems quickly.
- Is structured, accurate and takes deadlines seriously - you notice when something does not add up.
- Takes ownership of their work and is a flexible team player
Nice to have, but not a requirement
- Experience from retail, e-commerce, consumer goods or a product-based business.
- Familiarity with an ERP or accounting system (e.g. Fortnox, QuickBooks, Business Central or similar).
- Exposure to international or multi-entity accounting, or to the US market.
Why Sweed
- Genuine international exposure and hands-on experience. With companies in both Sweden and the US, you will get hands-on experience of multi-entity finance early in your career.
- Build the finance team with us. The function is young. Your input shapes it.
- Grow with the role and move fast, learn fast. A growing company, hands-on work, and finance that sits close to the business.
