Job Responsibilities

• You perform preparatory kitchen duties, including washing vegetables, cutting and filleting salmon, and cutting lamb chops and beef for the preparation of various dishes. You work together with a kitchen team of approximately four colleagues under the supervision of the head chef.
• You prepare and cook a variety of dishes while carrying out quality and hygiene checks during the preparation process in accordance with the applicable guidelines.
• You prepare dishes for service and carry out a final quality check before the dishes are handed over to the delivery staff.
• You plan the daily kitchen activities and place orders for food products and other stock replenishments with regular suppliers. You also check delivered products for quality and quantity.
• You supervise kitchen assistants, provide instructions, and make adjustments where necessary.
• Before closing time, you ensure that your workstation is clean, clean kitchen equipment and machinery, and assist with cleaning the entire kitchen and storing delivered goods.
• You contribute to improving quality, suggest possible optimisations, and assist with creating and updating menus, recipes, and preparation instructions.

Job Requirements

You have completed an MBO Level 3 vocational qualification or an equivalent qualification and have demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.

You are a genuine team player, have a flexible attitude, and possess good communication skills.

Employment Conditions

• Gross salary between €2,600 and €3,100 per month, based on a 38-hour working week and in accordance with the applicable collective labour agreement
• Temporary contract for a minimum of one year
