Imagine being at the forefront of offshore wind technology, where your expertise in advanced structural analysis and composite engineering makes a real difference. As a Senior Structural Blade Engineer, you will lead the charge in ensuring the reliability and performance of wind turbine blades across a global fleet. You will engage in finite element modeling and structural analysis, tackling complex engineering challenges and investigating root causes to support the ongoing operation of offshore wind assets. Your independent work will influence technical decisions and establish you as a subject matter expert in blade structural analysis.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will perform detailed structural analysis of wind turbine blades using ANSYS, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of results.
- Lead and execute finite element analysis (FEA) tasks independently, modifying blade models to conduct strength, fatigue, and stability assessments for the service blade fleet.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, materials, process, and testing, to drive improvements and innovations.
- Document analysis results and present findings to internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of technical information.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of simulation methodologies and perform root cause analysis (RCA) as a technical lead.
What You Bring
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in structural analysis of wind turbine blades.
- Your expert-level proficiency in ANSYS tools for FEM/FEA and composite analysis sets you apart.
- Strong understanding of composite materials and structural mechanics is essential.
- Proven ability to work independently and drive tasks without supervision.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field is required (Master’s or PhD preferred). Familiarity with MATLAB and Python programming is required.

The team collaborates closely with various specialists, including design, materials, and manufacturing experts, to tackle complex engineering challenges. Together, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of simulation methodologies and engineering processes, driving innovation in the offshore wind sector.
