- Translates and aligns technical, business, and operational requirements of systems, applications, and services into clear technical and/or functional specifications, ensuring the overall capability and long‑term viability of the product(s).
- Ensures integration of requirements with interacting systems, applications, and services both within SITA and across the wider airline community.
- Acts as a technical lead for multiple small to medium projects with significant business impact, ensuring solutions can sustain long‑term technical and operational needs.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to user workshops to validate customer requirements, confirm and negotiate technical specifications at project activation, and verify adherence to requirements in delivered solutions.
- Investigate, advise, and implement additional functionality based on application enhancements or user community needs.
- Advise on, implement, and manage technical change request processes, ensuring all system changes follow agreed policy and comply with audit requirements.
- Hold overall responsibility for the technical setup of the system, liaising with development teams to determine effort, feasibility, and scheduling.
- Create and maintain technical documentation supporting the products as defined in the requirements.
- Develop unit test plans, test cases, scripts, and documentation based on technical specifications, and perform technical testing activities.
- Identify, raise, and manage risks and issues affecting the project, ensuring appropriate action is taken and escalating when significant impacts arise.
- Implement continuous process improvements to maintain best practices and, where appropriate, extend these improvements across the wider development organization.
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to design extensions to existing application functionality.
- Mentor and coach a small group of less experienced Specialists, ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge required for their roles.
- Support the implementation of specific applications across countries and regions.
Qualifications: EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in deployment or support of application software, implementing systems and modules across multiple full lifecycle implementations.
- Formal project management training is desirable.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Recognized professional qualifications are desirable where applicable.
