Senior HR Business Partner - 18 Months FTC

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to provide high-quality HR partnership and leadership, primarily supporting Croda Denmark. Working closely with the Denmark Senior Leadership Team, this role will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, helping to shape and deliver people strategies that support business performance, organisational effectiveness and employee engagement.
Based in Frederikssund, this is an excellent opportunity to combine strategic business partnering with hands-on HR leadership. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving talent development, cultural transformation and strong people practices, while ensuring alignment with company policies and local employment requirements.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align people’s strategies with business objectives.
- Proven ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong facilitation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid knowledge of Danish employment law and HR practices.
- Knowledge of Nordic employment legislation and HR practices is advantageous.
- Experience in organisational change, transformation, and HR project management.
- Experience supporting HR transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
- Strong employee relations experience, including managing complex and sensitive cases.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build credibility and trust across the organisation.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Relevant HR qualifications and professional certifications are considered an advantage.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Partner with business leaders and leadership teams to provide strategic HR guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development.
- Build strong and effective relationships with the Croda Denmark Senior Leadership Team, managers, employees, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and deliver core HR processes, including recruitment, performance management, compensation, employee relations, and talent reviews.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on HR policies, employment legislation, and HR best practices.
- Support and lead organisational change and transformation initiatives to improve business performance and employee experience.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives.
- Support the implementation of regional and global HR strategies, programs, and processes.
- Contribute to and lead HR transformation activities and continuous improvement initiatives across the EMEA region.
- Use people data and analytics to support decision-making and identify opportunities to enhance organisational effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local employment legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain awareness of legislative developments and assess their impact on business operations and HR policies.

This is a hybrid role based in Frederikssund, fixed term contract of 18 months.
This position has no direct line management responsibility.
