Job Description: Wire EDM Operator / Technician

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled, hands-on Wire EDM Operator / Technician to join our high-tech mechanical workshop in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. In this role, you will manufacture highly complex, high-precision mechanical components and assemblies—primarily in single-piece or small-series production—for top-tier clients in the semiconductor, aerospace, optical, and medical industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-manage and execute the full end-to-end Wire EDM production process for complex parts.
• Determine optimal machining strategies, select tooling, and design/execute reliable clamping methods.
• Program machines using modern CAD/CAM software systems.
• Read and interpret complex technical drawings, ensuring parts meet strict form and position tolerances.
• Perform quality assessments and independent precision inspections on produced components.
• Collaborate closely with a skilled team of technicians to meet demanding technical specifications and delivery schedules.

Required Qualifications & Strengths

• Completed technical degree or formal vocational education in mechanical engineering or machining.
• Proven experience operating Wire EDM machines and a strong understanding of modern machining techniques.
• Familiarity with common high-tech material types and their machining behaviors.
• High proficiency in reading technical drawings and applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Quality-conscious, precise, flexible, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & Offer

• Salary: €46,300 to €54,100 gross per year, tailored to education and relevant work experience.
• Paid Time Off: 25 paid vacation days per year plus up to 7 paid public holidays.
• Allowances: 8.33% annual holiday allowance and a 4.979% monthly ADV allowance.
• Travel Allowance: €0.19 per kilometer for commuting.
• Relocation Package: Full support for international candidates, including housing search assistance, Dutch tax number (BSN) registration, bank account setup, health insurance setup, and introductory Dutch language training.
