Primary tasks and responsibilities include:
- Investigating and resolving incidents in COBOL- and Java-based components.

- Maintaining test environments based on RHEL on OpenShift and Microsoft SQL Server databases, and operating systems on the OpenShift Container Platform.
- Working with JN Data on OPC jobs using JCL and coordinating with vendors and customers when errors occur.
- Maintaining and improving existing solutions, including technical and procedural documentation.
- Contributing technical expertise in collaboration with other IT specialists to deliver solutions that meet changing business needs.
- Helping establish automated testing, migrating web services to REST services on OpenShift and supporting event streaming to the new BI platform.
To succeed you will have:
- More than five years of experience in mainframe development using COBOL.
- Experience with Java.
- Experience developing and unit testing with one or more of the following: COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, SQL, IDz/RDz and Java.
