Responsibilities

Firmware Development

Design, develop and maintain embedded firmware components using C++ for industrial automation products

Feature Development

Implement and validate features related to industrial communication, controller runtime functions and platform services

Debugging & Analysis

Debug firmware and perform systematic root-cause analysis of complex technical defects

Issue Resolution

Prioritize and resolve technically challenging and business-critical software issues

Testing & Quality

Develop unit and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD-based software quality processes

System Design

Participate in requirements analysis, software design and system architecture discussions while owning specific technical areas

Technical Leadership

Prepare software design documentation, conduct code reviews and support embedded development standards

Collaboration & Improvement

Participate in Agile/SAFe activities, mentor engineers, share knowledge and collaborate with distributed teams

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automation and Robotics, Electronics or a related field, or equivalent experience

C++ Experience

5+ years of professional software development experience using C++

Embedded Experience

5+ years of experience developing and debugging embedded systems firmware

Software Lifecycle

Practical knowledge of requirements analysis, software design, implementation and testing processes

Embedded Systems

Knowledge of network protocols, embedded systems architecture or real-time operating systems such as QNX or VxWorks

Version Control & CI/CD

Practical experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins

English Communication

Fluent English at B2 level or higher for collaboration with international engineering teams

Problem Solving

Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to independently investigate issues and support others
