As a Trade Support (40 hrs) at FincoEnergies, you play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our trading activities. Your focus will be on accurately capturing trades, exposure management, and collaboration with key stakeholders to optimize physical deals. In this position, you will be directly contributing to the seamless operation of the trading department and helping us manage the risks associated with sourcing and distributing sustainable fuels.
You will act as a vital link between our trading, finance, risk, and operations teams, combining analytical precision with proactive problem-solving.

Your responsibilities as Trade Support
- Being accountable for the accurate and timely capture of trades (physical and financial).
- Ensuring positions and exposure are properly reflected in our system.
- Accurate and timely reporting of positions to Risk/Treasury.
- Calculating P&L for all books and timely reporting to the Trading team and Risk/Treasury.
- Liaising closely with Supply/Operations to optimise all physical deals and capture changes that impact exposure.
- Performing regular reconciliations (for example clearing statements). Ensuring non-reconciling items are followed-up.
- Overseeing deal execution by opening Letters of Credit (LCs), checking Bills of Lading (BLs) and optimising quantity and quality in collaboration with Supply and Quality.
- Ensuring a correct invoicing cycle for trades and working closely with Trading and Finance to safeguard timeliness and accuracy.
- Identifing and assisting in delivering continuous improvement ideas.

- You are fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
As our new Front Runner you bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (e.g. Business, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting).
- 5 - 7 years of work experience.
- Proficiency in Excel; programming skills are an advantage.
- Experience with Allegro or other ETRM software is a plus.
- A strong salary based on experience & competencies and attractive yearly bonus potential;
