The incumbent will ensure the set-up of GBS Procurement strategy around automation, and more particularly with regard to e-catalogs. The E-catalogs Expert will oversee and supervise the creation, organization, and maintenance of product catalogs. Central position of coordination between all the different stakeholders: Buyers, IT, Vendors, SAP/Ariba teams, and Procurement Master Data team.
We count on you to:
- Managing product launches:

- Oversee the launch of new products, ensuring that all necessary information is available to users at the time of release.

- Work closely internally with IT and Procurement departments, and externally with Vendors and Ariba/SAP, to ensure each product launch initiative is successful and productive

- Collaborate in developing and creating product catalogs, including organizing and categorizing products effectively

- Build and own a methodology for setting up Punch-out catalogs and to onboard a new supplier

- Contribute to developing promotional materials related to the product catalog

- Promote the catalog channel to the users
- Creating and maintaining product catalogs:

- Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date product catalogs
- Ensuring catalog accuracy:

- Ensure the accuracy of information pertaining to product data, pricing and inventory levels

- Regularly monitor and update product information in the catalog, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency

- Monitor and manage inventory levels in the catalog, ensuring product availability is accurately reflected
- Analyzing product performance:

- Track and analyze product performance data

- Prepare and present regular reports on the status of the product catalog, including updates, performance metrics, and recommendations for improvement

- Provide product recommendations and advice to IT

- Offer recommendations to internal teams on catalog optimization, leveraging insights and market trends.
- Working with vendors and internal teams:

- Work closely with vendors to gather accurate and reliable product information. This includes obtaining data, images and other information and managing relationships with Vendors to ensure that they meet the specific requirements of the business.

- Liaise with vendors and internal teams (ex: IT, Buyers) to obtain accurate product data, resolve catalog-related issues, and optimize content
- Implementing updates:

- Implement updates to product catalogs, typically concerning price changes, new product launches and product retirements
You will bring:
- Degree in Purchasing, E-Business, or in a relevant domain
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably working with catalogs or product management
- Proficiency in cataloging software, databases and systems, such as SAP Ariba Catalog
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Team player, collaborating effectively with internal teams and vendors to achieve catalog goals
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in catalog management
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
- Analytical and detail-oriented, focusing on ensuring data accuracy and catalog optimization
- Strong problem-solving skills, proactively identifying and addressing catalog-related issues
- Innovative mindset, constantly seeking opportunities to enhance the catalog's functionality and user experience
- Highly organized, managing catalog data and documentation efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills to provide product recommendations and support
You will get:
- The Portuguese annual base salary reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: €19,400.00 to €26,600.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualification and internal equity and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range.
