Your Role:
As a Warehouse Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Receive and release cold chain shipping solutions to include processing all documentation associated with the activity.
- Inspect, clean and repair passive cold chain shipping solutions in accordance with CSafe documentation and under the supervision of authorized personnel.
- Interact with drivers of transport companies during deliveries and release of containers from CSafe facility.
- Prepare outgoing cold chain shipping solutions for shipment, to include cleaning and testing per CSafe approved documentation.
- Perform PCM conditioning activities in accordance with established SOPs, including container preparation, PCM assignment, staging, and final configuration, ensuring all PCM-conditioned containers and related products are properly documented and ready for outbound shipment and customer use.
- Handle warehoused products by locating inventory, preparing items for shipment, and ensuring accuracy of product selection.
- Perform repalletization, cleaning, inspection, and preparation of warehoused products as required prior to shipment.
- Prepare, verify, and process associated shipping and inventory documentation for warehoused and PCM-conditioned products.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper documentation and requirements for special instructions pertaining to inbound and out bound loads (BOL's, Shipping Labels, Delivery Orders, etc.)
- Enter appropriate information in inventory systems as required.
- Operates simple warehouse equipment as necessary.
- Loading and unloading of trucks with forklifts
- Moving and stacking of container inventory with forklifts per CSafe SOP’s
- Performs other related manual tasks, as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Secondary vocational education level 2 or 3
- 2+ years’ experience within operations, manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or material handling.
- Experience handling temperature-controlled products or regulated materials is a plus.
- Certification as a forklift operator or must be certified within 90 days of hire.
- Must possess mechanical aptitude.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft office, internet, email, etc.)
- Ability to follow detailed SOPs and work instructions.
- Read, speak, and understand the English language.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Must be thorough and exercise attentionto detail.
- Ability to manage constantly changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Professional demeanor, tact, diplomacy and ability to maintain good relationships with internal/external customers under challenging conditions.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
