We are looking for a Lead Accountant who will be part of our Finance Team in Vivicta Group Finance, with responsibility for supporting both Sweden and Norway and ensuring strong ownership of local GAAP matters.

Work responsibilities:
- Act as the main accounting point of contact for Swedish and Norwegian legal entities, coordinating accounting matters with local finance, Finance Operations, Group Finance, auditors, and tax advisors.
- Perform and oversee General Ledger and Fixed Asset accounting in accordance with Swedish and Norwegian local GAAP, IFRS, group policies, and local statutory requirements.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, provisions, intercompany balances, and review of local-to-group reporting differences.
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements, annual reports, management reporting input, and other required statutory or operational reporting for Sweden and Norway.
- Provide information and analysis to tax authorities, auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Support internal stakeholders in accounting matters and provide guidance on local GAAP treatment, statutory reporting requirements, and financial controls.
- Act as an accounting expert and advisor for Finance Operations and local finance colleagues, supporting complex topics such as leases, fixed assets, provisions, tax-related accounting, and intercompany transactions.
- Participate in finance development initiatives, process harmonization, control improvements, and documentation of local accounting procedures.
- Maintain and continuously improve internal documentation, closing instructions, manuals, and working papers for Swedish and Norwegian accounting processes.
We believe you to have:
- Strong experience in financial accounting and reporting under Swedish and Norwegian local GAAP; IFRS and group reporting experience is an advantage.
- Proven work experience as a Lead Accountant, Senior Accountant, or similar role with responsibility for statutory reporting and closing activities.
- Good understanding of Swedish and Norwegian tax, audit, and statutory compliance requirements, with ability to coordinate with external advisors where needed.
- Responsible, punctual, service minded and supportive personality
- Able to work in a deadline-driven environment and manage priorities across two markets.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance and accounting
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written; Swedish or Norwegian language skills are considered an advantage.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and a team player, happy to support oters and good at collaboration.
- Good analytical, communication and problem solving skills.
Location: Sweden or Norway / hybrid within agreed Vivicta Group location.
