Are you passionate about data & analytics, and want to help us build a data-driven culture for digital product development at the LEGO Group?
We are looking for a Student Worker in our Data, Analytics & Enabling Capabilities team to help us build new ways of understanding how our consumers interact with LEGO websites and apps.
Working as a part of our Digital Consumer Engagement function (DCE), this role plays a critical part in our ambition to build direct and lasting relationships with our consumers through the creation of an immersive set of experiences aimed at increasing LEGO love among our fans.
Core responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, well-documented data transformation pipelines
in dbt that meet our data quality and governance standards, so stakeholders
have reliable, analysis-ready data for reporting.
- Build user-friendly, performant dashboards in Databricks that help stakehold-ers across the department understand how our experiences and campaigns are performing.
- Explore emerging capabilities such as Databricks Genie (AI agents), bring
practical recommendations back to the team, and help us turn those capabilities into impactful AI solutions.
- Collaborate with colleagues in other Data Enablement functions and the Data
Office to make the team's outputs discoverable and reusable across the
business
- Grow your analytics engineering craft through code review, pairing and
mentorship from an experienced team.

The Data Enablement team sits within the Digital Consumer Engagement (DCE) Data, Analytics & Business Improvement team. We focus on ensuring our colleagues in DCE have easy access to the relevant and trustworthy data they need to build experiences for our consumers and shoppers that are two-way, long-lasting and meaningful.
We are seeking a Student Worker passionate about data analytics/engineering to join our team. We develop exclusively on a cutting-edge Databricks platform, also leveraging dbt Core, Git and GitHub Copilot. You will have the opportunity to learn from a team of experienced data professionals, and collaborate with stakeholders across Digital Product Teams, Data Enablement functions and our centralised Data Office. We are at an exciting stage of our Digital Transformation at the LEGO Group, and this role will help improve our understanding of how consumers behave across our ecosystem of digital touchpoints. You will help make a difference to our digital experience by ensuring that anyone who works on creating experiences for our consumers are grounded in accurate, easy to interpret, and impactful data on how consumers behave and what they want from us.
Do you have what it takes?
- Currently completing a Masters Degree within the fields of Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Data Management, or similar
- Passion for or experience with software development, product management, agile, or digital analytics is an asset
- A sense of what makes data visualizations effective and some experience building them.
- A curiosity for exploring how AI can be utilized effectively for analytics (both in building transformation pipelines and serving insights).
- Enthusiasm for seeing data used to solve complex business problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Open, collaborative communication style and comfort creating new ways of doing things in partnership with others.
Nice to have:
- Experience using an IDE (e.g. VS Code).
- Python experience
- Working knowledge of Git/GitHub.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence
- Native level fluency in English, written and spoken
- Additional language skills a plus but not required
