Senior AI Business Analyst / AI Product Engineer (m/w/n)

Your responsibilities:

• Capture, understand and challenge requirements through workshops, interviews, user observation, competitive analysis - with the clear mandate not only to translate requirements, but to critically question them and outline alternatives.
• Drive AI-powered product innovation: Analyze business challenges and opportunities through an AI-first lens, identify high-value use cases and adapt emerging AI capabilities to our products, processes and organizational context.
• Requirements engineering: structure user stories, prepare acceptance criteria, process and data flow diagrams, technical documentation, then maintain them in Jira and Confluence.
• Build, validate and scale solutions: Use AI to create PRDs, user stories, process designs and rapid prototypes, challenge and refine requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders and developers to validate ideas quickly. Where appropriate, independently deliver smaller AI-powered features from concept through rollout.
• AI-assisted business analysis: leveraging AI tools to conduct business and technical research, optimize processes, discover connections and data. Ability to critically review AI output, especially in terms of security and compliance.
• Act as an AI multiplier for the organization: Establish reusable AI skills, agents, frameworks and working methods while coaching colleagues and embedding AI know-how into the product organization.
• Cross-team communication: translate between customer language and engineering language, provide support and gather feedback, support Product Owner, other Business Analysists, customers and management.
• Share knowledge and drive continuous improvement within the team.

Your Profile

Must have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, Product Analyst or similar role in the design, development or delivery of IT products within an Agile organisations (Scrum, Kanban) .
• Strong requirements engineering skills including identifying, exploring and refining business needs, challenging technical matters and transforming gathered input into clear, actionable product requirements.
• Readiness to work closely with customers, stakeholders and technical teams to understand strategic objectives, uncover underlying needs and support product development.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude/GPT, Gemini, AI Agents) in daily work as well as effectively using AI solutions to solve practical problems.
• Experience in preparation of user stories, acceptance criteria, process modelling, writing technical documentation.
• Fluent English (minimum B2).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data quality topics, regulatory requirements or product compliance.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, Excel or reporting tools.
• Experience with building advanced AI automation solutions, tools or custom agents.
• Experience in UX / UI design / customer journey mapping.
• German language skills.
